Hush Hair is a booth rental salon for independent stylists. Our stylists are not paid employees, they are self-employed stylists who rent a space in our salon.  We currently have some spaces available. Interested? Send us your resume!

FULL-TIME BOOTH RENTAL

perfect for a stylist who is looking for a space to build an independent career surrounded by like minded people 

 

  • access to the salon 24/7

  • your own stylist station and cupboard space

  • provided: towels, capes, barbicide, two backbar options, and snacks and drinks for your clients

  • must have a valid Ohio cosmetology license 

PART-TIME LASH TECH

Perfect for someone wanting to master the skill of eyelash extensions and build a consistent clientele with the option to transition into a full time commission or booth rental position in the future

 

  • must have a valid cosmetology or esthetics license

  • Lash extension training provided

  • flexible schedule

  • commission W-2 payment structure 

HAIRSTYLIST INTERN

Perfect for a cosmetology student interested in getting hands on education and training in a salon environment

 

  • Intern with Katie

  • Receive hourly credit for school

  • No commitment 

  • Bridal hair experience with Sheila

  • must be a cosmetology student in a school that offers an interning option

PART-TIME HAIRSTYLIST

Perfect for a new stylist wanting to start a career with a little extra support. This position will start with a training program and transition into a commission stylist position with the option to work full-time hours. Optional: this will also include a spot on our bridal hair team

 

  • Must have a valid cosmetology license 

  • Training with Katie (13 years of experience behind the chair)

  • optional bridal hair training with Sheila (7 years of bridal hair experience)

  • Hourly/ commission W-2 payment structure 

Starting out, you will receive a trial month and you will not need to sign a contract and will only need to pay half-price for rent. After that first month, if you choose to stay, you will need to sign a year contract and begin paying full price rent.
